RAMAKRISHNA-VIVEKANANDA ASHRAMA situated at Bidar in Karnataka state is highly respected and recognized service organization in
Kalyana Karnataka region and also it has been providing meaningful service through its spiritual, social, educational and cultural programs in Bidar, a border
district of Karnataka for the past 20 years and has earned the highest respect for its humanitarian services among the people at home and abroad.

In the last few years, the ashram has started a Goshala for the conservation and breeding of Indigenous cows and is carrying out a huge task of preserving
Indian cultural heritage and values through the daily service of about 115 cows by the local Deoni, Gir & Kankarej breeds with the cooperation of gentlemen
and donors. As the motivational mantra that ‘METI VIDYE IS BETTER THAN KOTI VIDYE’ has become an effective movement to still the
“EVERY CAR SHED CONVERT INTO COW SHED” That’s the our
goshala motto and some main objectives of goshala is as follows;

Conservation of Indian breeds of cows.
Distribution of free cows to farmers to promote conservation of native cows.
Spreading the importance of desi milk and its uses.
Spreading the importance of Gomutra of desi breeds especially in the natural farming.
Encouraging desi cow based farming.
Creating awareness programme on organic farming by using desi breeds.
Increasing the desi milk productivity and supply.
Animal welfare activity camps.

The land has been taken for lease where it is used for growing the fodder. It is also mainly concentrate on the youths to promote organic
farming and Atma Nirbhar Bharat at Kalyana Karnataka region. The goshala is become very popular in the less time, the success story of the goshala
have been broadcasted by many state / national TV channels. We have 50-60 thousands monthly income from the Go-Products but it is very difficult to
run the goshala by having the following expenditure:
